An increasing number of homeschoolers are concerned about protecting our homeschooling rights in North Carolina. We're aware that the legislators who were in office when our current homeschooling law was passed, are not the same legislators who are in office now. It appears that education may be a strong political focus in the upcoming election. Some homeschooling advocates feel that this increased focus on homeschooling has led to increasing legislative actions and restrictions in other states. While not being alarmists, we realize that, as with handling any potential threat, the key is preparedness through education.
